13 Ways the World Ends

Good Morning Apocalypse, the comedy team that brought you Maple Valley Comedy and The Trial By Fire Show is back with a brand new comedy revue about the end of the world.

More accurately, the “ends” of the world. Because in this show, the world meets its end in no less than thirteen different ways! Meet the soccer moms who fend off waves of zombie hordes between playdates. Follow a young couple in their date to the Tree Museum, which also comes with free entry to the Bee Museum. Watch as No Sick Days Mary turns a case of the sniffles into a new global pandemic. And join the Johnsons, as they watch the sun go out the way that God intended… as a family, gosh darn it.

13 Ways the World Ends: A Sketch Comedy Show will be hosted at Bryan Orser Hall on June 17, at 7:00pm and 9:30pm and will feature local talent, stand-up, and never-before-seen sketch comedy, including material that will feature in Good Morning Apocalypse’s 2017 The Toronto Fringe show. Each show will be hosted by a different champion of our community and a portion of ticket sales will go towards the Rotary Club Of Penetanguishene. All tickets include an invitation to an open audience improv session after the 9:30 pm show.

Tickets are $15 in advance, or $20 at the door.

Event Description

Just days away from their appearance at Toronto Sketchfest 2017, local comedy troupe Good Morning Apocalypse is planning a local show – a half-hour set of their sketchfest material at a Midland venue!

TRIAL BY FIRE is a comedy show about people pushed to the absolute brink: Two women who love hot yoga square off to see who can do the hottest yoga. Elsewhere, a man in a diner wants the Lumberjack Special… but is he really as hungry as a Lumberjack? And who do you call when your poor neglected cat needs a little attention? Why, the Kitty Kissers of course!

Combining fan favourite sketches with all-new material, this comedy set isn’t one you’ll want to miss.

The GMA Players are: Bryan Piitz, Todd McFarlane, Karen McFarlane, Deanna Palazzo and James Dalzell.

With material written by Brendan Main, Bryan Piitz and Colleen Waltenbury.
Directed by Betony Main.

Videography by Nate LaCroix.

The show is a one-time event, on Sunday 2:00 pm, Feb. 26, at Huronia Museum.
Admission is $10, with all proceeds going towards their upcoming 2017 Fringe show!
